Hello everyone! Life on the road is a lot of hard work, but it's a lot of fun too!
Hello everyone!
Life on the road is a lot of hard work, but it's a lot of fun too! My mommy's been so busy singing and dancing...and I've been so busy looking cute! But even though we've been busy, my mommy really loves to see all the people that come to her show. She is so silly some times! She'll walk through the crowd and talk to people or even pull them up on stage. Can you imagine?! I think I would just die, but people seem to like it. They dance and sing right along with her.
Oh my gosh, I have to tell you what happened! It was SO neat. My mommy was singing and decided to walk through the audience. She walked up to a woman that was holding me (in my Christmas best!) and the woman told my mommy that she met her 20 years ago when she was 6 years-old and had cancer. As a little girl, her wish had been granted to meet my mommy -- they got to play with make-up (That would be MY wish too!) and go to the Grand Ol' Opry. So then, my mommy turns around and tells everyone, "This is Heidi - she is a Children's Miracle Network cancer survior!" The coolest part of the story, is that this is THE Heidi that my mommy made a doll after many years ago - the "Heidi" CMN doll. She is a "real doll" just like me! How cool is that?!
My mommy was really happy to see her and was glad to hear that she is doing good. I am too!
Well, I better go get my beauty rest...although I'm just so adorable, I really don't need it. (smiles)
Until next time...

Hi Adora, I CAN'T WAIT to see your mom here in Utah!! That is a Really neat story. I bet that meant a lot to Heidi! Marie means a lot to all of us! I can't wait, I have never seen your Mom in concert she stopped before I was old enough :) Get some rest and tell your Mom to do the same!! Sincerely, Mallory in Utah :) |

AB:
That is a very special story. I know CMN means so much to your mommy, and to hook up again with someone who has benefited from care in a CMN hospital AND been the inspiration for a doll must make all the rehearsals, changes, load-ins, load-outs, bus rides, and weather changes worthwhile.
I do hope your mommy, Deborah, and Sharon are taking good care of their voices with all the temperature fluctuations. and that Santa's Christmas spirit didn't freeze in mid-air in Paducah!! :)
Thanks for the update (oh...sorry...bet your mommy doesn't let you date yet!), keep warm, and my son and I will see you in the lobby of the Del__... er...Energy Solutions Arena in SLC.
Hugs to your mommy, Bob |

Hello Adora Belle:
I'm glad you are on the road with your Mommy - someone has to keep her in line!! The story about Heidi in the audience was great - - without your Mommy's help, the ending to that story, and so many others may have turned out differently.
I was at your Mommy's reunion in Provo in October, and she had an auction of some of the special dolls from her own personal collection. All the money for the dolls went to the Children's Miracle Network. I bought some of the dolls, and one of them just happened to be the Heidi #4 doll. It is wonderful to know that this little girl grew up to be a grown woman - thanks in part to CMN. I think it's also neat that this many years later, the doll was sold to benefit CMN.
You know this as well as I do, but your Mommy has a great big heart for kids - - - - and I think the good Lord will bless her abundantly for all the love she has poured out on the CMN kids & all her friends. She is a very special lady! |

Hello Adora Belle:
Let your mom know that the show is FANTASTIC! It was so much fun, santa was very funny, Marie sings better the ever and it was a blast. We appreciate her hard work. We were at the Clinton Twp. afternoon show and it was great. Thanks Marie and her band for a super Christmas show. Merry Christmas to you all! Bonnie & Deb (the twins) |

So I just got back from "your Mommy's" concert here in Utah!!! I LOVED it!!! I have never seen Marie perform before. I especailly loved her Broadway stuff!! I think you should tell her to make a Broadway cd :) If your Mom reads this be sure to tell her that I was the crazy girl who gave her a hug instead of a handshake when she came into the crowd :) I hope I didn't scare her too bad!! :) It was a Wonderful show!!! I hope she performs again SOON!! -Mallory- |

MC AB!
Your Mommy was HOT at her SLC show. I guess that's why she kept guzzling water all night! I wore a pink neck tie in her honor. I heard something about pink being the new red! Since she was in the Jazz arena, I'll use a sports analogy by saying that your mommy truly left it all on the floor that night. She held nothing back and absolutely filled that building with her voice, her energy, her emotion, and her spirit.
I was so glad to be able to share that event with my 17 year-old son. He really liked the show, and was impressed that your mommy could sing in so many different styles. After watching a show at the Desert Star Theater in Murray the next day, Jordan commented, "It makes you really appreciate Marie." :)

| AB- My daughters and I were at the marion palace theater on the 17th. I got to meet your Mommy after the show and I was lucky enough to tell her about my first name and get her autograph! My first name, my Mommy's first name and my Grandmommy's first name ----can you guess? That's right--OLIVE :):):) I really enjoyed the show. The "consider me yours" song that your Mommy sang touched my heart. Please ask your Mommy to sing more and record a classical/broadway/gospel CD.(ok- so I want to hear it all and your Mommy could even make it a charity project for CMN!) I truly miss your mommy's singing. Take care of your Mommy because the CMN celebration is right around the corner. Maybe I will see your Mommy at Disney. Stay bundled up this winter Adora, so you can stay as Adora-ble as ever! Lalaurenie |

Thanks for sharing the story. How cool was that?! :) Heidi was one of my mom's Marie dolls that she bought for herself (but asked me to display so we could both enjoy her) so it thrilled me to read this.

| Wow! If that was hard work you sure made it look like a LOT of fun~! I drove down from Virginia with my eldest daughter Jessica and saw your Mom down in Fayetteville NC! We were SO surprised because we didn't know we had bought front row seats right down in the PIT next to the stage! How Cool! It was a fantastic show, your mom has the voice of an Angel and it just keeps getting better as time marches on! Let me tell you though, that Santa sure looked a little familiar! He seemed a little naughty himself! LOL! Your mom had a migrane headache, but kept right on singing. We would have understood if she wasn't able to finish the show...but I don't know how she did it...she finished the show anyway. I hope she goes on tour again! Thanks for making this a special trip with my daughter. Big Bear Hugs, Chris in VA (ChrisVA) |

Hi Adora Belle
I was so excited when I heard your mommy was going to be on tour, and coming to Clearwater, It was my first time seeing her on concert, It was unbelivable, I mean I loved it so much that I also went to her Lakeland concert, and as if that was not enough, i also made plans to take my kids on a short skiing trip to UTAh (we've never been skiing) to go skiing and of course to attend her last concert, I even won the auction to get attend the Post-concert party, but because of the blizzard that hit Colorado the day before my flight was cancelled so i never made, I have been the biggest fan of your monny since I was a child, I have never had the pleasure of meeting her, but maybe someday. Hope you, your mommy and all your brothers and sister get lots of rest after such a long tour. Love you all always |
